The upheaval of the days of the Exodus caused by interplanetary perturbations and discharges, was of an intensity of many thousands of hydrogen bombs. Some of the many consequences were transmutation of elements, nuclear fission, and radiation sickness.
A permanent bombardment of the Earth by cosmic rays is going on, resulting in fission of atoms, especially those of nitrogen. But the comparative rarity of cosmic rays makes the results, though spectacular in every case or collision of a ray-particle with an atom or a gene, lacking, in an overall picture, the dramatic element of massive change or transformation.
In the abnormal conditions of interplanetary stress and discharges, the elements could go through transformations on a grand scale, the living organisms through the process of somatic changes, and their reproductive cells through mutations that would impress themselves on the formation of the generations to follow.4 hearts
These project by photographer Jim Golden focus on tech objects almost excluded from the glittering stage of consumerism.
Using author’s words:
The seeds for the Relict of technology project started when I found a brick cell phone at a thrift store in rural Oregon.
Since finding it, similar bits and pieces of old technology and media kept grabbing my attention. The fascination was equal parts nostalgia for the forms, and curiosity as to what had become of them. One thing led to another and I was on the hunt for groups of media and key pieces of technology, most of which have now been downsized to fit in the palm of our hand. These photos are reminders that progress has a price and our efforts have an expiration date.

Pure thoughtful cinema, sprinkled with symbols as a synthesis of knowledge. The first movie of this rubric is La cinquième saison (2012), directed by Peter Brosens and Jessica Woodworth.
(Spoiler alert) A small rural community is upset by absurd natural phenomena, the cycle of seasons breaks and generates a sort of perpetual winter, not only climatic.
It causes a social crisis, which culminates in the loss of apparent innocence and the explosion of a premeditated violence, part of human nature and therefore ineluctable, like the progressive cromatic desaturation of this filmic representation.
This is truly a Flemish painting in motion, which communicates with an atavistic grammar, made up of almost imperceptible dialogues and a narrative dimension that moves gradually to a grotesque and unacceptable level of reality. Bosch and Bruegel would appreciate this.4 hearts
